I tell you I am beyond blessed to have the children that I do!!! Taylor decided to enter a writing contest (she has won a few in the past). We have been trying to get healthy as a family, and this is the 200 word or less essay that she wrote.....in like an hour!!!!!! I sat here as she did it. Straight from her brain! I guess all of the health lessons I have been giving have sunk in?!?!?!?!?!?

The sense of accomplishment you feel as you cross the finish line, sweat trickling down your face, leader of the pack. I want to be able to acknowledge myself as doing just that one day. To lead the life I dream of. Don’t you? In order to achieve that, however, we must first live the lifestyle
The lifestyle I’m referring to is a healthy lifestyle consisting of exercise, a well balanced diet, the appropriate amount of sleep, and most importantly, the mind set. Having a high self-confidence level is germane. Your assurance in yourself is part of what drives you forward during the hurricane until you reach the eye of the storm.
Exercise is also a crucial aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Getting active gives you the steam you need to fulfill the many activities throughout your day, as well as getting you a step closer to mastering Everest. Receiving the correct amount of sleep for your age is vital to your health. Sleeping gives your body a chance to repair itself so that our bodies can successfully withstand whatever is thrown our way.
Along with your mind set, exercise routine, and sleep schedule, you also should have a well-balanced diet. Eating right and becoming conscious about what you’re eating helps to improve your sense of how what you eat affects your body. Everyone needs to learn to love the skin they’re in, though there’s always room for improvement. That improvement is what is going to take you to the top of Mount Everest; to the end of the finish line. We all want to enjoy life to its fullest and a healthy lifestyle will unmistakably guide us there.-------
