Helping My Baby Breathe

I am so extremely grateful for modern medicine!! After helping out a new friend with her store, I came home in the middle of the night to my baby having a very hard time breathing. He has his asthma attacks, and he has had croup before, but nothing like this. My husband was just finishing up a breathing treatment, had already done the cool night air, and a hot steamy bathroom....nothing to that point had helped. We made a decision to go to the E.R. and by the time he was buckled in he was gasping to breathe. What a very scary thing!!! He was having an attack with a bad case of croup to boot. At the E.R. they did 2 more treatments back to back, with major steroids in them, but in the end he needed an additional steroid shot. A very scary night!!! He is doing better today, still on treatments every 4 hours, but doing better. So my husband left for work with zero sleep, and I had a wedding shoot today with 2 hours sleep, I hope they didn't notice?!?!? So needless to say we are heading to bed! But I just had to say how grateful I am to live in this time, when medicine is so modern and powerful.

Pulling out my lucky Elvis!!!

OK, it's time to pull out all the stops!! You didn't know I had a lucky Elvis, did you?? Seeing that we are all on pins and needles waiting to see who the big CBX winner is, I thought I'd put him up!!! Mostly just for laughs, but he is not too bad to look at. My husband is a DIE hard Elvis fan, so I had to take this photo when I was in Vegas at the show. So here's hoping that Elvis has some magic!!

Easter weekend...a little late

My Brother in Law is always saying silly things...this time I caught it!!!!

My Neice, Marissa

I had the pleasure of shooting my oldest niece today. Marissa, I can't believe that you are graduating this year and moving on. I felt so special today being able to freeze time, at least in a photograph!! Here are a few of my favorites since you have a wait for the rest!! Cynthia and Kelly, yours are finally done, and Ann yours will be by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for being patient!

Meet Toby

He is the newest member of our family. He is a present for my Husband, who has been wanting a "BIG" dog for some time now!!!! He got to pick out the puppy, and I got to pick the name. The name is very special to me. We had a dog named Toby growing up. He was the best dog a person could ever have. He was a champion show dog, and an amazing friend.. So baby Toby, I hope that you will live up to your name.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

DO you believe that this beautiful woman has 6 children...the oldest, Marissa graduates from High School this year!!! Tonight is my neice Marissa's Cotillion. What a proud night for my sister and brother in law. Congratulations to both of you for raising such an amazing daughter!! You may think that tonight is for her, but it is for you. I love you both, have a wonderful night.

I had the honor of shooting the Timmerman's yesterday. My husband and Dave have been friends since grade school. It was a lot of fun, thanks kids for playing with me.
