Yesterday's post was the album cover and today's post is the inside cover and the first page. Here is the inside cover. The photo is done through an app called Red Stamp, but you could use alphabet stickers or stamps. I love the envelopes SO much. I love the tone on tone in the cheveron stripes.
I want to talk a little bit about how I am using this album. This album for me is a mix of Project Life, Regular Scrapbooking, a photo a day, and a daily planner. Let me explain. So I am loving the craze this year of Project life, but I need more than just 1 spread, and I like to still feel like I am scrapbooking a layout, so this is what I came up with. You will see as you go along, much of my journaling is actually on the photos themselves, or it may be tucked away in a pocket, I am a VERY clean and visual person so I want the look to be very streamlined.
Inside this album you will fine a few different inserts used, as well as these new zip pockets, so perfect and so cute. It is a huge mix and match of New Hampton Art DITTO products with older products. It is shipping in March, so I want to get you well acquainted with the products before they hit the shelves, and as soon as they do I will link you to the products. Until then you can be getting your photos and stories ready. I am doing a month at a time, but I have a few pages for each month. And I am not following any kind of pattern, one month may have 1 page while one may have 5. I will use what I need to really capture and tell the stories within that month.
