In my post about my work space, I had 2 new layouts up....I love Black and White photos, they can be used with any paper any day, and it just creates a timeless feeling. All products are Teresa Collins. But my favorite is the paper with the alphabet on it. Has anyone used this paper yet?
Well I have been wanting to do something for my Sister...and I know she has been getting into scrapbooking...so I have had this in the back of my mind. Well when I saw this paper stack I knew instantly it was what I would use for Owen. Even better that it is a "green" product mixed with some Teresa Collins stamps and papers...and you have YUMMY goodness!!

So I didn't stop there. I have done many layouts using our vacation photos...but Tyler wanted me to use these papers so he could match Owen. So I did 10 very simple layouts using some of our new photos so that Tyler can have his own family album....
It was a fun few hours together and Tyler just loves it!!! Maybe I will add some Disneyland to his album!!
I have had many emails over the last few months asking to see my Studio....while I don't have one....it is our Family room that we all create and hang out in, I will call it my space.
This is my inspiration board. I just redid this. I LOVE the color combos of Teresa Collins new Family Matters and Documented lines. Also some Technique Tuesday mixed in, I just LOVE my new array of projects and photos. This hangs above my desk.
My desk. It is a custom built desk that my husband built 4 years ago. It is 8 foot x 3foot....I am so spoiled, I LOVE my desk. Underneath I have wire cubes from Target...reinforced with zip ties, very functional on a budget!!!
At the end of the desk on this side I have a 3 drawer dresser for paper work, fabric, and odds and ends. All of my mini albums are in the basket on top of the dresser. On the other end of the desk I have a computer tower with all of my CD's, large format printer, CPU, scanner, all the goodies.
On the opposite wall to my desk is the family desk and computer. It holds much of my papers, and some layouts. The girls work on their homework here and the boys play on pbskids.org
And this little floor table is Tyler's desk. Some of the drawers are his and we got this cute wall organization at IKEA for like under $20.00. He loves it and he is so good at making books and journals and he fills them with his letters. We all love this room and spend a lot of time together in it. So that is my space!!
Yes Tyler woke up with a fever but nothing else.....still a 6 year old boy with TONS of energy!! So we rested today and then played Lego's for A LONG time, and then we drove to pick up Maddy but we stopped at the turquoise door for a few shots.

After 2 hours of Lego's creativity was lacking as well as energy...notice the face???
Gracie makes the hour drive everyday with me. Such a cutie pie!!
She is just the CUTEST!!!!
On the drive home he FINALLY fell asleep. Hopefully tomorrow there won't be any fever, although I had a great day with Tyler!!
You know weekends are my favorite. The family is home all together, and that is my favorite thing is to spend time with them. Also my favorite part of the week is church on Sunday's. It is a time to be lifted up, to recharge your batteries, and just to be still and listen to the whisperings of the Lord. That is something I do not do well, and I am working on it...to really be still, to be peaceful so that I can hear when the Lord's whisperings come my way. Life always seems to be too busy, and that isn't right we all need some quiet time in our day. So that is something that I am working on.
So we all spent some time after school just hanging out. Started with some yard work and then some Wii, and a movie. They are just so precious!!!! Saturday was more hanging out, and then I shot my nieces engagement photos. What a cute couple and SO IN LOVE!!!!

And then we finished the weekend off with a family party. We do family birthday's once a month and gather as a family. SO much fun. With 13 cousins and 7 adults we always share memorable times....and a miracle happened, ALL the kids let me get a few shots!!! NEVER does that happen!!!!
Logan is Kris and Don's youngest son and the same age as Zack, and he is the HARDEST he will NEVER let you take any pictures!! I guess because I said that was ALL his mom wanted for her birthday....and then he said OK only 2!! I only needed one he is so handsome!!!
Coleton is their next and almost 12!!!
Alli is Steve and Karen's baby...well not anymore in First grade!
Their next is Grant and he is Madisann's age.
Kel is their oldest he is a JR. this year, can you see the resemblance between him and Taylor??

Ok so I am trying out a new size...6x6. Seem too small? Try it, not only is it TOTALLY fast, but it can really stretch your supplies. I am working on this album VERY slowly. SO you may not see the end result for some time. This is all a mix of Teresa Collins products. The top 2 photos were taken by Suzy Plantamura, and the bottom layout..Taylor took the phone booth shot and Suzy the second shot. THANK YOU GIRLS!!!

So this layout was for total fun...sometimes I just need to really step outside the box to regain my creativity. I have this Birthday pad of paper from Me and my BIG ideas that has just been screaming my name...and with a bunch of birthdays this week I thought PERFECT!! Mixed with some Teresa Collins paper and family established stamp and it was SO much fun playing!! Thanks Suzy for the photo!!!
