I have been asked a lot what goes into editing a photo shoot, so I thought I would share. Typically clients do not recieve their photos for 2 weeks after their shoot. My editing process takes time and I do try to be a stay at home mom as much as possible. The holidays get even harder as I have back to back clients as well as concerts and family. For me balance is the key. Sometimes it is longer than 2 weeks and in certain cases is may be sooner. So that is a little of why the time frame is what it is. The hardest part is getting 500 shots down to 60-80. (((yes I take WAY too many photos!!))) It is very time consuming, but I want to make sure that I take lots to be able to give you the very BEST shots that capture your personal family relationship. Each photo then goes through many steps of editing as well as black and white edits on my favorites. I do not use any actions or plug ins each photo is hand edited with LOTS of love. I treat every photo as if it were my own. I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have in metting so many different families and seeing the fun and love from each one. I hope this was a good explaination of the process. Thank you for a wonderful season!!! Have a wonderful Merry Christmas.
And now a few shots from when my parents visited from Ohio at Thankgiving. (((Sorry Liz I have been busy, and no you are not annoying.....hehe oh to tease my baby sister))) What a great visit it was.
